COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

  Land Bank

The purpose of the City of Warren Land Bank Program is to acquire vacant

and abandoned tax delinquent property and to then market that property

to individuals, developers, and non-profit organizations for development.

In addition to land already owned by the city, property is received into the

Land Bank Program through Trumbull County Sheriff tax foreclosure sales,

Trumbull County Auditor forfeited land sales, and gift-in-lieu of foreclosure

donations. The City of Warren then sells this property in accordance with

Ohio Revised Code.

Currently, over 200 properties are available through the Land Bank Program.

Each parcel is priced at $5.00 per front footage; a $36.50 recording fee is

also charged for each purchase.

Please note: no applicant may purchase more than five parcels from the Land Bank Program. A $30.00 deposit is required upon application in the form of check or money order; cash is not accepted. Any remaining balance must also be paid by check or money order.
