Summer Youth Jobs Program

The Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services, OhioMeansJobs Trumbull County, and the Trumbull County Board of Commissioners have announced the 2017 Summer Youth Program. This program serves economically disadvantaged Trumbull County youth between the ages of 15 and 24 and will run from June 12 to August 4, 2017. Youth selected for participation will be paid $8.50 per hour and will work 30 hours per week.

Salvation Army Distributing Winter Coats

The Salvation Army is distributing winter coats at its 270 Franklin Street S.E. location. The distribution is taking place Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.


Supplies are limited and distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Recipients must bring a photo ID. For more information, call (330) 392-1573.

TCAP Offers Employability Lab

Summary of Packard Music Hall Operations

JAC Management Group recently issued a summary of Packard Music Hall operations from September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016. During that period Packard Music Hall hosted 159 events, drawing over 39,000 attendees and resulting in five sellout concerts. The summary letter also outlines plans for facility improvements.

TCAP Offers Emergency Utility Bill Assistance

Warren Family Mission Offers Winter Help

The Warren Family Mission offers cold weather programs at its 1228 West Market Street and 155 Tod Avenue locations. The 1228 West Market Street location provides emergency shelter for men only, while the 155 Tod Avenue location provides warmth and hot drinks between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Lordstown Energy Center Construction Progress

The City of Warren is slated to supply water to the Lordstown Energy Center, a high efficiency electric power plant that broke ground in June.
