ENGINEERING, PLANNING
AND BUILDING DEPARTMENT
The City of
Warren Engineering, Planning and Building Department is
responsible for the investigation and advisement of
building, drive and sidewalk construction, interpretation of
deed descriptions for structure and property location, and
the inspection of railroad crossings, sidewalks, and tree
lawns.

HEALTH DEPARTMENT
The City of
Warren Health Department is responsible for a wide variety
of inspections as part of its Environmental Services
program, including food service, rental housing, weeds and
high grass, tattoo establishments, solid and infectious
waste sites, school inspections, nuisance complaints, and
clean indoor air inspections.

FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Warren Fire Prevention Bureau
enforces all fire codes that have jurisdiction within the
City of Warren. The Bureau also promotes installation and maintenance of direct wire smoke detectors
in residential structures with three or more dwelling units.
Currently, single-family dwellings and duplexes located
within city limits are permitted to install and
maintain battery smoke detectors.
