The Operations Department encompasses three divisions: Streets and Parks, Building Maintenance, and Vehicle Maintenance.

Streets and Parks maintain over 300 miles of paved streets, which includes plowing and salting in the winter months as well as pothole repair throughout the year. This Division is also responsible for maintaining the twenty-one (21) City parks, thirteen (13) ball diamonds, and nine (9) soccer fields.

Building Maintenance is responsible for the maintaining and upkeep of fifty-five (55) structures throughout the City.

Vehicle Maintenance is responsible for maintaining and repairing over 150 City vehicles, including Police cruisers, all salt/plow/dump trucks, pickups, tractors, and other miscellaneous equipment.
