Sealed Bids for the construction of the Courthouse Fountain Refurbishment Project (Ordinance No. 12887/19) will be received by the City of Warren, Ohio at 391 Mahoning Avenue, NW, Warren, Ohio 44483 until 11:00 am Local Time on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
Project includes refurbishment and upgrades to the City’s Courthouse fountain including, but not limited to, plumbing, piping, pumping, lighting and electrical improvements, concrete and stone work, painting and general site improvements. One single prime contract will be awarded for this work.
Plans and specifications are available at the office of the Engineer, MS Consultants, Inc., 333 East Federal Street, Youngstown, Ohio, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Sets purchased in person may be obtained for a payment of $50.00. Sets shipped to bidders will require a payment of $60.00. Said payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. All checks shall be made payable to MS Consultants, Inc. Each bidder must be a registered plan holder with MS Consultants, Inc. to be eligible to submit a bid for this project.
Bidding documents are sold as complete sets; no partial or incomplete sets can be purchased. No refund will be allowed for the return of any bidding documents at any time.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished with the bidding documents. Said bids must be submitted as one original and one copy.
Bidders shall furnish proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described by completing Section 00 45 13 in the Project Manual.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Article 4 in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Contract Times for completion and provisions on liquidated and special damages, if any, are indicated in the Agreement.
