Mayor reading at the Stark Edwards House

Mayor Doug Franklin is delighted to read JUST LIKE MY BROTHER by author and illustrator Gianna Marino Viking, a book from the Imagination Library collection about Little Giraffe, who adores her big brother. The story begins with a game of hide-and-seek. As Little Giraffe looks for her big brother, she encounters many other animals on her search and asks each of them if they've seen him. She describes him as taller, faster, and braver than her. As her search for her big brother continues, the other animals insist that Little Giraffe is tall, and fast, and brave, too . . . and best of all, she has a wonderful older brother who looks out for her! This book is read aloud with the permission of the Penguin Random House.
